Having previously marked a new high (4239.12), the index is currently in the correction zone. The attraction and support is now provided by the daily Ichimoku cross (4160.98 – 4136.85 – 4112.72), strengthened by the weekly short-term trend (4046.07). If the bulls manage to keep these levels as supports, then a return to 4239.12 and its update will return the chances of advancing to the next significant milestone, which may be the psychological level of 4500. The loss of the weekly short-term support will lead to the development of a corrective decline, the next benchmarks of which can now be noted at 3976.24 (the lower limit of the daily cloud + the weekly Fibo Kijun) and 3895.02 (the weekly medium-term trend).

Recovering their positions, the bullish traders approached the upper border of the monthly cloud (7190.8) last week. The influence and strength of the resistance of this level provoked a corrective decline. As a result, according to the FTSE, the previous targets are relevant for the upside - the upper border of the monthly cloud (7190.8) and the upward target for the breakdown of the weekly Ichimoku cloud (7397.8 - 7682.3). The levels of the daily cross (7033.2 - 6992.3 - 6951.4), strengthened by the weekly short-term trend (6889.9), act as supports for the development of the current decline. The breakout of the current supports, as well as the passage of the daily cloud and the weekly Fibo Kijun (6815.2), will focus the players' attention on a decline in the area of 6700 (weekly medium-term trend + lower border of the monthly cloud).

DAX

For the current upward movement of the index, the weekly upward target for the breakout of the Ichimoku cloud (16377.2 - 17282.0) is relevant. The DAX is currently in the retracement zone. The recovery of the upward trend with the renewal of the high (15503.9) will allow again to move in the direction of the weekly target. In case of consolidation, the center of attraction of which is now the Ichimoku day cross (15237.4 - 15155.0 - 15072.7), ends with the development of a corrective decline, and the bulls will lose the support for the weekly short-term trend (14961.1), then the next important border on the path of strengthening bearish sentiment will be the area of 14581.1 – 14548.2 (the lower border of the daily cloud + weekly Fibo Kijun).

The technical analysis of the situation uses:

higher time frames - Ichimoku Kinko Hyo (9.26.52) + Fibo Kijun levels

H1 - Pivot Points (classic) + Moving Average 120 (weekly long-term trend)
